Before placing an order with us we strongly recommend all the legal terms contained within the website and understand fully the meaning of same. Is it essential that any concerns you may have must be raised before placement of order. The placing of an order establishes a legal contract with us.
2. Information contained within VogueRugsInternational.net
Our site contains vital information you need to know before placing your order, including current price, description of the goods and delivery and returns policy. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that this information is as accurate as can possibly be, however it must be clearly understood that this information is offered as a ëInvitation to treatí, and in no way constitutes a contractual offer from us. We reserve the right to correct any errors in this information at any stage and are not contractually bound to supply goods as a result of erroneous information.
3. Conclusion of your order
Upon receiving your order we will send an acknowledgement by electronic mail to confirm receipt ñ this is not an acceptance. On clearance of payment in full for all goods the order will be processed and you will be advised of a delivery schedule and relevant tracking number by electronic mail also. This correspondence deems our acceptance of your order which we will fulfil within the conditions contained within this contract.
Enshrined within our 'NO QUIBBLE GUARANTEE', we will accept returns of any item that you feel is unsuitable for your individual purpose. The rug/s must be returned using a reputable carrier within 14 days from delivery and all costs incurred will be at the customer's expense. On receipt of the rug, it will be inspected by our customer care team and assuming it is in pristine condition, you will be issued with a full refund of the goods value with the exemption of our delivery costs. If preferable, we will be happy to issue a credit voucher against a future purchase including the original delivery charge - this voucher has no limitation of timescale.
All customers must realise that we invest massive time and capital to the production of images that we feel are as accurate as possible - please note that all PC/MAC display screens will reproduce colours and shades in a wide variety of manners. We cannot be held responsible for any perceived colour variations and this shall not be considered as a manufacturing defect. The rug may still be returned under our 'NO QUIBBLE GUARANTEE'; however the carriage and delivery costs will be at the customer's expense.
It must also be clearly understood that wool is a natural fibre and as such is subject to a reasonable amount of natural shedding. In addition all shaggy pile rugs manufactured in either wool or acrylic are prone to natural shedding - correct maintenance procedures can overcome these issues but this factor must be considered prior to purchase as this natural process will not be deemed as a fault of the goods.
5. Cancellation of contract
We reserve the right to terminate the contract if the requested goods are unavailable or we are unable to affect delivery to your place of residence. In the unlikely event of this, we will immediately notify you by electronic mail and issue a full refund. With regret we are unable to offer additional remuneration for any loss of esteem or disappointment resulting from non-delivery of goods.
As part of the unique VRI shopping experience, we guarantee to deliver your goods within 28 days from placement of order, although it must be understood that 98% of orders are received within 4 working days. 7. Custom Orders
We are happy to accept custom orders that are made to client's specs - an estimated delivery date will be provided at time of order. We regret that goods that are specially commissioned are not eligible for refund or exchange.
8. Transfer of title
We will despatch your goods using an accredited carrier who will require your signature as proof of receipt. This signature deems the transfer of ownership from VRI to the customer and we will not be held responsible for any issues arising after this time. Photographic identification may be requested by our courier to complete delivery.
9. Damaged goods
In the unlikely event that yours goods arrive either damaged, defective or not as ordered we require notification by electronic mail within 7 days from receipt. We reserve the option to carry out an inspection to determine the cause of the problem and replace, make good or refund the amount paid for the goods in question.
10. Limitations of responsibility
VRI have taken all reasonable precautions that all goods sold meet stringent EEC standards required for resale. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the goods will meet the stipulations of other countries as and when required. If we fail in our obligation and a court decides that compensation must be paid, this amount will be limited to the full purchase price of the goods only.
11. PLATINUM PRICE PROMISE
In the event that you find a VRI exclusive product offered at a lower price by another online retailer, we will refund the difference in price within 7 days. Please note that we will require verification which includes checking stock availability of the cheaper product and that online auction sites or special offers and time limited promotions are not included.
12. LAW GOVERNING THE CONTRACT
The contract between buyer and seller shall be governed in accordance with NI law and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Northern Ireland.
